If you’ve ever dreamed of masterminding the next big indie hit, crafting a vast virtual open world, or working with spreadsheets all day, this event will help you get there! The event is inspired by our highly successful Speed Networking events, but is directed to aspiring game designers.

A diverse panel of industry experts will be on hand to answer 45 minutes’ worth of your burning questions, after which you’ll be free to mix and mingle on a more informal basis. These experts are drawn from all levels of the games industry. There will also be game design mentors in the audience, eager to answer your questions one-on-one!

  • May Ling Tan, Senior Game Designer (WB Games Montréal)
  • Isabelle Bouchard, Game Designer (Ludia Games)
  • Rilla Khaled, Associate Professor (Department of Design and Computation Arts, Concordia University)
  • Nicolas Barrière-Kucharski, Game Designer (Minority Media)

If you have a CV or portfolio you’d like some quick comments on, please feel free to bring it along.
In order to attend this event, you must register in advance. Unregistered attendees will not be admitted.
